KOLYA IS LEGALLY FREE!!!

Just got the news about an hour ago.  No family tie hold-ups for moving forward with the adoption of Kolya!  Just made my day!

HEHA! The dates are confirmed for the boys flying in!!!!

They are arriving Dec. 13th thru Jan. 15th!!!  The countdown is now really on with the new news!

And so the Official Count Down (OCF) begins. In about a month, Kolya and Sergey will be here in a little of over a month!!! 33-35 days

What "ifs" i have for when Sergai comes

     Here are some "what ifs" for when Sergai comes:

1.      What if I get pissed at him? I can't legally hurt him like I would my brothers (i only body slam them)
2. What if I DO accidently get him hurt?? um.. uh-oh?
3. What if I want some alone time and he ends up being the worlds best fit thrower?

     So this will be my "what ifs" writing colomn, enjoy

Remember Sam my bud.....it is only a month and 99% of the things we stress over is nothing!  Don't live your life in the "What If's".  You won't hurt him.  Being an orphan you two may be a good match.  You being tuff having lots of siblings and a mom as a tuff cookie and him being in an orphanage.  I am sure you will have more in common then you think!

Kolya Coming To The US...!

Countdown for Kolya to arrive in the United States to spend a Christmas with the Dewberry's! Kolya will be spending a month with us from mid December to mid January in order to give him the opportunity to experience God's love, family, friendship and love. We are so excited to be able to offer him this in hopes that it can be more then just a one month experience but that God will open the door for us to adopt this young man should he open that door. We are open to what God wants us to be and do in his life.

Almost There!

g    I think Nicole is going to make me write every thing!

     Anyway! My family sent in the application to New Horizons Hosting program! I think he will be here in December. We will be taking him to Great Wolf Lodge for X-mas (not for him! Dang! you think I would like that if it were just for him!?). 'Parently he is a great swimmer and a real crack up! He better be a goof ball when he gets here, other wise, we'll make him one!

    Please pray for my Family and Joe and Nicole that when they get here, everthing goes well and that we can make in a change in someones life.

Once In a Lifetime

     Me and a friend are going to try to explain a procces of events that will probably change our lives. The process we are going to attempt in explaining is hosting a an orphan from Russia and the Ukraine. Just to put this into perspectice we are in North Carolina USA, Sergey is from high up in Russia (like, close to the north pole!) and Kolya is in the Ukraine. Thats about 30 +/- hours of flight to get here!!! Can you imagine how sick and tired you would be of planes if you were on a plane that long?!


     Kolya and Sergey probably have never met! They are coming to NC in December sometime. Kolya is going to Joe and Nicole's home and Sergey is coming to my busy house of 11! Anyway, quick bio on Sergey.

     Sergey is a 13 year-old boy from Russia. He was hosted by another family a little while ago by a family who loved him so much that they wanted to adopt him. He told them that he was not sure whether or not he wanted to be adopted though. That family had an older child who was having problems shall we say? So that fell through the roof with a splat at the same time he said yes he would agree to be adopted. He still thinks he is being adopted! How sad.

     As for Kolya, I can't speak about him 'cause I don't now much about him. He is Nicole and Joe's. So Ill let them write something about him.

In the pics on the right, Segey is on the top and Kolya is on bottom. They both look like GREAT kids!
